Rotator Cuff Injuries

Rotator Cuff Injuries

10/2/2016

Overthrowing without an exercise routine that can mimic the throwing motion in reverse to balance the posterior chain of the body can result in inflammation, and injury to the shoulder. The rotator cuff is frequently irritated in throwing athletes, resulting in tendinitis. Early symptoms include pain that radiates from the front of the shoulder to the side of the arm. Pain may be present during throwing, other activities, and at rest. To counteract such injuries, athletes must perform a pre and post activity exercise routine that will balance their kinetic chain. In doing so the big muscles of the posterior chain will assist the small muscles so they do the brunt of the work during the deceleration of the throwing motion. Simply put, build your decelerating muscles "your Breaks" and you will be less likely to incur arm or shoulder injuries. KC GRIPZ has developed a complete system to balance the body and kinetic chain so you can efficiently decelerate the violent motion of throwing, greatly reducing the chance of injury.
